Sort of. Recent history with USM is they would play the top Belt Teams... They've openly pined for more games with ULL, and they've got a history with stAte. Texas State was scheduled pre Sun Belt, and App was more because they needed a home game.

However, it would have to be alarming for a USM fan that a school that previously wanted nothing to do with Troy, and especially nothing to do with USA, is now agreeing to home and home deals. That's got to be a tough pill to swallow, and it shows how much trouble they are having scheduling games.

The return of the TXST/USM game is next year in SM.
