I have to admit, I did not realize was #2 in attendance for G5. That is really impressive. As for the Thursday night games, ECU fans will go and that was what VT used to get national attention. If ECU could even get a NIT level Basketball program, they would be an ideal candidate when expansion happens. Basketball has been the Achilles' hill in their efforts in moving the program up. They would have been in the Big East years ago if not for Basketball.
