That's a lot of Jucos guys if I were a HS kid I would have second thoughts about going to a school with so many mature ready to play kids. I am all for competition but that's stacking the deck. Don't get me wrong I am not knocking anyone for signing kids from the Juco ranks but it seems a little much.

A little contradictory.

It may be but it just seems par for the course in the Sun Belt. Not saying other G5 schools are not doing it but it's a gamble. I know recruiting is a gamble in itself but to me you want to take HS kids because you will have more time to shape and mold them. Jucos are around 2 maybe 3yrs and if you miss you have less time to recover from that mistake.

We keep saying there is a perception problem with the Sun Belt and teams having a number of Jucos is part of it. I know it not the only part but it adds to it. I think of Kansas St a little differently than the other teams in the B12 because they have so many Jucos. It may just be me and I could be reading too much into it. GS took some Jucos last year(4) and one so far this year so we are contributing as well.

The Sun Belt perception problem is due getting our rear ends handed to us by other conferences not JUCOs.
Ok
