RE: MACk talks MAC sports- With WMU athletics beatwriter
This week in Bronco Football WMU beatwriter Julie Mack talks more Bronco football. Here's a teaser of what you'll find.

Whey protein abuse a cause for concern at WMU
In a recent investigative report, this reporter found that WMU football players were taking large doses of Whey protein in an effort to build muscle. We confronted the WMU Strength and Conditioning Coach.

When asked if Whey Protein was being abused by WMU players, the coach stated. "They drink about 3 table spoons a day mixed with delicious "chocolate milk." When asked if this was similar to the Whey used by Little Miss Muffet when she sat on her tuffit eating her curds and whey," he responded. "No, she was actually eating cottage cheese, totally different."

The coach refused to answer further questions, claiming he had stuff to do. We at Mlive feel that there is a nutritional cover up being perpetrated in the WMU athletic department, and will be looking into this further.
