Even though all of us there at the stadium were ticked off about giving that game up, losing it actually did more for the present/future status of our conference and ultimately the benefit to us than winning it.

Maybe we should throw every conference game this year... you know, for the good of the rest of the conference.
Yeah, that's exactly what I meant. It never gets old being amused how some people's brains work.............

I understand you're trying to make lemonade from lemons... I was just taking that concept to the illogical extreme in a vain attempt at humor.
Don't really have to try to make the lemonade........what other thing did Aresco hang his hat on in his media day dialogue other than UCF winning the BCS Fiesta Bowl over and over? Since UCF doesn't go to the Fiesta Bowl if they lose to us, Aresco doesn't have much drum-beating material for the conference other than "ooh, look at our basketball championships".....which, we all know is great, but that sport doesn't drive the bus.
A fan is a fan, and at the time, nobody was as upset that we (and the refs) gave that game away as me. Hindsight is 20/20.

I haven't been truly pissed at a Tigers FB game in a long, long time.
Still actually angry about it.
Just un******* real.
