We don't get coverage up there just like UAB and JSU get no coverage in the southern part of the state. The only teams that get statewide coverage are Alabama and Auburn.

Never lived in South Alabama but it would be surprised if JSU had any coverage other than games against team in the area or stories about players from the area.

CUSA would take USA over us for a Alabama team.

Personally, I would prefer a conference as close geographically as possible. TV will pay more for schools with good crowds before market potential, long term. Games are more fun with opposing crowds and Im more worried about my enjoyment than tv ratings.
