RE: Obama Faces Loss of Old Senate Seat to GOP
The greek is NOT going to win. The repubs have a a very electable candidate, Rep. Kirk. He has served on the North Shore for a long time and comes across well. People are in no mood to elect crooked bankers this year, even in Illinois.

BTW, the Democratic Lt Gov nominee who was charged with assault has dropped off the ticket. He spent $2million of his own money on the campaign. He was a PAWN BROKER and made millions.MY friend who is very familiar with politics and the criminal world (experience in both cultures) believes he was a FENCE. The pressure they used to force him off was not the assault, but how they would prosecute his ass if he didn't drop off the ticket.

Oh, IL politics is so charming.........serving the people........
