RE: PC Cops lay down the law on Real Cops
My response should be predictable. You should be free to mutilate your body in any fashion you wish. Employers should also be able to hire who in the hell they wish based on whatever criteria they choose... As long as it is done at the time of employment and both parties agree to the work stipulation against body mutilation or smoking or any other thing..I see no damn problem. I have NO problem with ANY type of descrimimation by employers. Yes...That includes race, creed, religion, health status or if you just look like a dumb***.

The consumer should be able to discourage behavior in the marketplace that they deem bad by simply not doing business with them. Ostracism should be the way society punishes those that act in ways it deems undesirable.

Let me be clear...I oppose descrimination of ANY form. I just do not want to use the force of the state to be used to effect change...I want the marketplace to be the driver of societal morays.

If you don't like the policies of an employer...go elsewhere to work and elsewhere to do business. This is all that is needed. The rest will take care of itself. Those that are bad actors in the workplace will not get quality employees and will not get business.
