You would think with Jordan Wallace's experience that she wouldn't be choking under pressure in the 7th. I just hate to see her pitch so good, giving up just 3 hits just to collapse with 2 outs and nobody on in the 7th by walking batters.

Game 3 of the Oregon series reminded of the 7th inning today. Oregon having 2 outs like USA today but the Cajuns leading and she did the same thing. Started walking, hitting batters along with a wild pitch and then an error.

I'm just concerned going into Regionals. At this point of the season and being a Senoir, you should be able to handle the pressure especially with the defense she has behind her.

USA's Freshman pitcher Devin Brown sure handled the pressure with bases loaded and a 3-0 count on the batter to be able to come back and get the count to full and get the out in the 7th.

The big mistake the Cajuns made was in the 6th when the pinch runner was called out for leaving early. If that doesn't happen, the Cajuns have the bases loaded with no outs.

They can't make these mistakes in Regionals. I doubt if we had any chance for a National seed even if we had won. Both UCLA and Missouri also lost a game this weekend. .

Maybe it's just me, but I would consider a pitcher getting a batter to hit the ball right to a fielder for a possible third out would be doing your job. In the Oregon & South Al games that happened and the fielders didn't make the play. It's my opinion those are on the fielder.
