He is a good get for you guys but I would worry until he signs. The kid has backed out of commitments in the past and the Gators have a lot of scholarships available.

Of course you'd say that.

Believe thats a given for almost any recruit...but the good news is that 95% or more that have commitments heading into the final recruiting weekend end up keeping them.
I like having 95% on our side vs hoping on the 5%.

Agree. Good luck, I worry about ours until they sign and show up on campus. You never know what can happen in the summer, thankfully grades haven't been an issue.
Good luck, good players want to play vs good players.

No doubt...as Signing Day is just Part II (Part I for most is getting their commitment) as Part III (maybe most important) is when recruit is officially enrolled...and Part IV, finally cleared by the NCAA.
Its Feb....on to Part II!

I guess they didn't find Kareem Ali picking Temple over Maryland, Clemson, Florida, Duke, Louisville, MSU, Nebraska, UNC, PSU, Pitt, Rutgers, Wisconsin, Virginia, etc. surprising because of his parents.

He just isn't as highly rated as Tristan Payton. That's why he didn't make that list. If he had all those offers though he sounds like a pretty good player

They're both 4* recruits either way.

The big thing in his case was that he got pushed out because of juco transfers. He knew we wanted him and he would get playing time. I am sure perriman helped.

Yeah but Payton is a 5.9 4 star. Ali is 5.8. Payton is 14th best receiver. Ali is 33rd best db. Payton is #142 in the rivals 150 best players. Ali isn't ranked in that. Not a huge difference but Payton is just a more highly rated player
