Quote:- After us knocking off BGSU and them beating Akron, they are right back in the thick of the East race... only to be double digit dogs against us. Solich will have them motivated.
I agree. Ohio is more often mediocre than Good -- but they're always a tough (bob) cat. They'll be ready to rumble. We can't be riding high off our BGSU win.

Yes -- and here's what our excitement is blinding us from: BGSU, horrible D, held us to under 350 yards. Ohio got 500+ on them. Ohio, with their bad O. Our O finally seemed to start rolling in the 4th Q when BGSU's D -finally- got tired and Franklin was able to pile up yards. But that should happen against an Ohio D, not a BGSU one. Hey, maybe BGSU's D stepped up to the plate? To some degree, maybe. But my point is -- I worry about our O being able to put up points.

True. One reason why I'm not jumping-for-joy, marking down Ohio & @Miami-OH as sure-fire Wins, with banking on going 1-for-2 against NIU & @CMU. This Ohio game IS a real test.
Quote:- Ohio doesn't back down and let up when trailing, unlike what we saw a little bit against BG. They're tougher than that. We'll have to face some adversity in this game to win it.
They're a grittier team. And we shook loose BGSU's QB some, which disrupted their O -- and kept our D off the field, etc. I would see us being a 3pt favorite, since it's at home. A classic "even match".
This will be a true test to see where we're at. If we can get our O to get 1st downs and move the chains in the game -- I think we'll be OK. My #1 concern is Ohio stuffing our O. BGSU did a pretty darn good job of that, and that's what scares me going into this game against Ohio.
