Given those odds if I were a betting man (which I'm not) I would take the following:
North Texas (+7) to beat the spread against New Orleans
MTSU (+1) to beat the spread at home against WKU
UALR (+2.5) to beat the spread against NMSU
USA (-3) to cover at home against Denver
The UL game is a tough one for me to pick as they haven't been playing very well here of late and 10.5 is a pretty big margin, but I'm going to go out on a limb and say that the Cajuns get there act together and cover the spread at home against ASU.
It should be an interesting night of action as all 5 games impact the Tournament as far as not only seeding but who makes it and who stays home. If i'm not mistaken everyone in the conference with the exception of FIU is still mathematically alive. I for one will be sitting back tonight watching the scores of the games as they develop.

Well with four of the five thus far picked correctly, i'm off to a pretty good start.

That thought crossed my mind, oh well it's still fun to make my picks and then go back and see how I did.

5 for 5 tonight as UALR defeats NMSU to beat the spread, perhaps I should move from Bowling Green to Las Vegas!!

If you were a betting man and I was a cop, you'd be in trouble. Isn't gambling on college athletics illegal?

I don't think so, if it was why would they make the odds on games every day. Think about how many people enter NCAA Bracket Contests every year, that's gambling (Rick Neuheisel can confirm that). I've heard of people betting on both college basketball and football so combine that with the fact that there odds listed for pretty much every game, that leads me to believe that it is legal.
