Yes, he was. Everyone liked him. You knew the information you were getting from him was solid.
I had to explain to my wife today who Chris Mortensen was. I told her he was the NFL scoop guy before Adam Schefter was. Only Mort was better.

Yeah, always about the business. I really mis that 90s era ESPN NFL crew. Now, with ESPN's current lineup, I just don't care as much.
