Five out of six game away and only one game from Sept 22 thru November 1st at home? Horrible.

But a bigger playoff system doesn't make sense because the NCAA is concerned about academics and player health

Garbage from the MAC.

RE: MAC Schedule Released - bikechuck - 02-22-2018 06:34 PM

My daughter, a Miami grad, who lives in the Madison Wi area was looking forward to meeting my wife and I who live in Columbus, Ohio in DeKalb for this year's NIU Miami game. However my daughter has a second grader and a preschooler so there is no way we will do this on a Wednesday night.

The MAC has sold its soul to ESPN for 30 pieces of silver and destroyed their fan base in the process of doing so.

1 home game in a 52 day stretch? Ain't no big deal. At least not to MAC officials it seems.

They literally are killing home attendance.04-chairshot

And not to mention last Saturday home game.....10/13.

RE: MAC Schedule Released - huskie1stdown - 02-22-2018 09:08 PM

The MAC is giving us a great reason to leave and I wish we could go.
My season will be done on Oct 13th.

RE: MAC Schedule Released - randyfensfanclub1 - 02-22-2018 09:12 PM

After looking at other thread, CMU AND EMU play ONE weekday game, day after Thanksgiving?

Akron, BGU, play only 2 each, midweek and Friday after Thanksgiving?

Are you kidding me? There is no other conference in America that would do this. Make most teams play 4, others 2,1 and ONLY day after Thanksgiving at that?

This is total crap. And STF probably says nothing and and bends over. All these years as alpha-dog dog and this is NIUs reward. F'n fantastic. All so ESPN gets an extra 100k viewers that are degenerate gamblers or football obsessed. And AAC is lateral move, or step down according to some? Spare me. Any conference that makes some teams play FOUR weekday games while others play ONE is not only hurting attendance but making winning more more of a challenge. But I guess they think we should be used to it. Give me a break. Total BS.

It'll give you a few weeks rest before basketball starts and Monty seeks his 8th year of mediocrity. See? There's always something to look forward to!

Who plays 3 games in 12 days in which 2 are on the road?

Well, it could be Northwestern, Nebraska, or Norfolk, so it's still too risky for me to guess.

RE: MAC Schedule Released - huskie88 - 02-22-2018 10:43 PM

BYU and NIU both have a bye on Saturday, October 20, the weekend before their scheduled game. Don't be surprised if the game is moved to Thursday or Friday although there are already seven games scheduled over those two nights.
