ASU game thread - Robert C - 01-20-2018 06:43 PM

Ok here we go....

RE: ASU game thread - MICHAELSPAPPY - 01-20-2018 06:48 PM

3 for 3 from the arc so far.

RE: ASU game thread - MICHAELSPAPPY - 01-20-2018 06:49 PM

Reedus is red hot. Nice to see.

RE: ASU game thread - Robert C - 01-20-2018 06:49 PM

Trojans on top 19-6 at 11:04 in first half. Keep it up guys!

RE: ASU game thread - MICHAELSPAPPY - 01-20-2018 06:57 PM

All they can do is shoot 3s. So don't let them!

RE: ASU game thread - MICHAELSPAPPY - 01-20-2018 07:04 PM

10 of 17 attempts by state have been 3-pointers. This is not brain surgery. Shut that down and it is all over.

RE: ASU game thread - MICHAELSPAPPY - 01-20-2018 07:10 PM

Wes needs to do some chewing at halftime. This is ridiculous!

RE: ASU game thread - MICHAELSPAPPY - 01-20-2018 07:13 PM

Good grief! Coming unraveled.

RE: ASU game thread - Robert C - 01-20-2018 07:38 PM

trying to claw back... got lead back @ 15:23 38-37

RE: ASU game thread - Karl B - 01-20-2018 08:26 PM

ASU only does one thing and we know it and can’t stop it.

RE: ASU game thread - UALR92 - 01-20-2018 08:27 PM

This game is a microcosm of the season. We can t even win at home and my money says we won't win at all on the road this season. Wes wouldnt know defense if it bit him....Pitiful. Maybe he can get on Twitter and ask for some tips on how to defend the 3 ball. Sounds an awful lot like last year

RE: ASU game thread - Robert C - 01-20-2018 08:31 PM

This was a must-win home game against a not so good rival...and we blew it. I've got better things to do than suffer this $H1t.

RE: ASU game thread - UALR92 - 01-20-2018 08:44 PM

I don't think the program can take another year like this one. I don't care how much better the players will get next year The fact of the matter is Wes is unable to make adjustments or control his team. Way too much talk and not enough action. If I did my job like that I would never be able to make a living.

RE: ASU game thread - chiefsfan - 01-20-2018 08:50 PM

We don't only shoot 3's. It's just the only thing that we are halfway decent at. You guys are still notoriously weak under Flannigan defending the three, and we have zero size. It was going to happen.

It was brought up pregame that you guys generally lose when you get outrebounded and lose the turnover battle. We won both tonight. If we could have made a darn free throw, it probably would have been a bigger win.

That's because the team is all flash and little substance. I can only imagine what will happen in Jonesboro.

Given the way our season has gone? You'll win by 10 points.

For the last time...no more feel-good homer hires. No Moncriefs, Walkers, Kleines, Flanigans...go for the best. Shoot for a Chris Beard every time.

And that includes Derek Fisher. Not that he wants to anymore after his stint with the Knicks. He's too "Hollywood" these days anyway. He'd hate it in LR.

I couldn't believe when I looked up the score. I told my wife that the women might have a tough game today, but that the men should win despite how bad they are, but that this is probably the worst ASU team since we've been playing them. All you Wes guys I hope are having fun, but I'd bet ole Chase is thinking, "Chris Beard made hiring a coach look so easy, and now I wish I'd listened to some of the fans who wanted me to do a search."

This guy is making Jim Platt look like a good hire. Anyone see the game that might give us an accurate attendance figure tonight. Both teams being so bad, I'd guessed that they might draw a half full arena.

RE: ASU game thread - UALR92 - 01-20-2018 09:21 PM

The loyalty of the AD has to be to the program and the fans. Not making someone's dream come true to the expense of the whole. We will see if Chasse is any better than the past ones that allowed mediocrity to linger....
