Upon hearing the news about not being in the final top 25 AP poll, despite finishing 11-2, Troy University decided to go a different route.
Troy's chancellor, Dr. Jack Hawkins Jr., made his thoughts on the subject known,
"We don't give a $*%^ about ESPN, the NCAA, or that garbage ass AP poll. I've already made the decision to declare Troy #25. We will be hanging banners and putting up billboards."
Troy had a miraculous season with wins over #25 LSU and Akron. Dr. Hawkins says the loss to a 4 win South Alabama team should not be taken into consideration.
"Obviously they cheated. I could spot the needle marks on their asses from my fancy stadium club chair. I wouldn't spit on a damned Jaguar! Or...wait...yeah."
Troy University will be spending $17,323 on two billboards and a few banners to let people know...Troy is number 25 and you better get use to it.

Can’t be a G5 team and lose to a 4 win team and make it into the Top 25. It’s just the way the system works.
