Need For A QB - army56mike - 01-04-2018 05:49 PM This is what our current QB roster looks like headed into 2018 season. JR - Buckshot Calvert JR - Mason Cunningham R-SO - Rudiger Yearick R-SO - David Jeremiah SO - Landon Brown Yes, we look fine at QB right now. Should there be a QB in every signing class? RE: Need For A QB - GE and MTS - 01-04-2018 09:32 PM I wish our quarterbacks were spread out more instead of juniors and sophomores. We don't need anyone right now but will need a lot very soon. This is one position we can afford to have someone (other than Calvert) transfer. RE: Need For A QB - Ewglenn - 01-05-2018 01:15 AM I think we will take one this year. Tyshun Sarratt is my guess for the qb. https://247sports.com/player/tyshun-sarratt-46041330 RE: Need For A QB - WesternSkillet - 01-05-2018 09:24 AM (01-05-2018 01:15 AM)Ewglenn Wrote: I think we will take one this year. Tyshun Sarratt is my guess for the qb. Looks like his FBS offers are Liberty, Miami OH, and Rutgers. RE: Need For A QB - SlyFox - 01-08-2018 02:03 PM We will take a QB barring a surprising turn of events. I would love to see Swift Lyle end up in Lynchburg but there hasn't been any indication from him yet where he will visit. We will iikely take Brandon Robinson and he could be the QB slot or as an athlete where we can get him on the field. Keep in mind that Cunningham was a JUCO who we needed to fill the backup spot. David Jeremiah (yeah, the grandson of THAT David Jeremiah and son of a former LU QB) also has a younger brother named Brad that was the top QB in San Diego this year and will likely head our way as PWO if he doesn't land last minute FBS scholarship offer. RE: Need For A QB - LibertyOrangeman - 01-10-2018 06:24 PM I saw that Yearlck got hurt last season. Anyone know anything about his progress? I heard he was supposed to be pretty good. I also walked with one of his former coaches to Lane Stadium before the 2016 game, and he was obviously pretty high on the kid. RE: Need For A QB - army56mike - 01-11-2018 07:26 AM I always assumed he would compete against Buckshot for the starting spot. He seemed to have a good profile out of HS.
