Outscored 87 to 20 in two bowls and it could have been worse.
This, a crap recruiting class, not much to work with next year, and a 5 year extension.

Haven’t you guys “dominated” in the recruiting rankings for 4 or 5 seasons now? Yet there you were finishing 6-6. We all know QB play is the key to success in the MAC. We’ll find out next season what Poljan can do, but Wassink and the other guy don’t exactly strike fear in many MAC defenses.

CMU did not beat WMU. WMU lost. Gave the blasted game away to an inferior opponent with a dolt for a coach, fools for a fan base, and ugly canary yellow (not gold) uniforms.

Got it. Is that how sports work? I guess Wyoming didn’t beat us today, we just lost. If not for turning the ball over 8 times we very well could have won...

No doubt Wassink would have been the better option and likely played better, Goddard was not good.

He was NOT. He was manageable and throw two straight darts at the end of the game that were dropped by his wideouts... would have made that ending a little more interesting... WMU was one dimensional this year...

The answer is yes. Emphatically yes.
They literally might have made Josh Allen go from a top 10 NFL Draft pick to the #1 pick overall. I mean, he played well... but mainly because of all cmu’s turnovers gave him great field position to work with. The guy only completed 11 passes for 150 yards.

Just think how the CMU game would have ended if Wassink didn't watch a center snap sail over his head on a 1st. and goal at the chips 3-yard line... The game might have ended at that point if we punch it in and it's 35-14...
