Cajuns play #6, #8, #10 (twice), #13, #17 (3X), #25 (twice) and #26 (3X)
The series with South Alabama is a NON CONFERENCE series since we do not play them in the league this year.
In typical Tony Robichaux fashion, he quipped. "The games will help our RPI. We have to make sure it doesn't turn into RIP."

Nothing wrong with yours, either.
What's crazy is, we also have midweek games against teams like McNeese, Southeastern La. and Louisiana Tech twice each.
The only non conference games we have against a team with a losing record last year are a pair with Tulane. And, they're going to be good, too.

AState plays 14 games this year against teams inside the top 41 in this poll. Probably the toughest schedule we've had in a while.

I'm not sure Coastal's failure to be ranked makes it a joke. You guys missed the NCAA Tourney last year, and have lost some players, especially in the pitching staff. It's not completely crazy that you're not ranked currently.
Now, if you are saying "this poll is a joke because its run by Collegiate Baseball" that's another story entirely. Collegiate Baseball has a weird history of ranking teams 10-12 spots different from the other baseball polls.

But with everything we lost at pitcher I understand why we wouldn't be the favorites.

I'm sorry, since you mention both in your post, are you wanting to talk about our national championship year before last or do you want to talk about last year, our first year we "learned to play in a baseball conference" where we went through the league with a 20-7-1 record, won the series against your team on your home field, and won the conference championship in our inaugural year?
Yea....yea....Coastal was reeeeeally shell shocked coming into this "baseball league."
