Kinda interesting to me that the MAC champs ended up paired with the SBC co-champs and the CUSA champs got the MAC runner up...

Sure wouldn’t wanna see FAU in game, that’s for sure. It’s unfortunate that Troy and FAU didn’t get better opponents.

Winning the MAC East is akin to being the tallest midget. The division is usually at or near the bottom of FBS. Akron would finish no better than 4th in the MAC West. (Although how FAU lost to Buffalo is a mystery)

I turned it on after halftime. Akron looked like they just wanted to go home while Kiffin was doing his best to run up the score and pad his resume.

How we lost to Buffalo is no mystery. Switching between two different QBs and not converting 4th downs will do that to you. Lane was giving UB the ball on the FAU 20. It also takes time to build team chemistry and implement and entirely new offenses and defense.

That's because Jason Candle doesn't care terribly much about proving he's a good coach to all the P5 teams who think he's not.

Kiffin has to be classless and run up the score because he has to not only win, but impress all the people who might hire him next season.

I think Kiffin did exactly what PJ Fleck did in his last year at WMU. He ran up the score and cited the trash talking Akron athletic department. If you’re going to stir the pot, don’t forget that your conference mates did the same thing last year.

Having a partner in classlessness doesn't make it any better. There's a lot of talk today about what a dick CLK was yesterday. Time will tell if it works to his advantage or not. It actually might.

And with that said, he did something amazing at FAU this year. Congrats on the fantastic season!
