Likely because it's the lowest point in quite awhile for MAC Football. We have one good team and a bunch of also-rans. Not much to get excited about.
What was the signature win for the conference...NIU beating a 4-7 Nebraska team and EMU beating 4-7 Rutgers...or a decent showing by WMU in an opening loss at USC?

UB intercepted a pass with about 5:30 left in the game up 31-24 but the INT was negated because a senior defensive lineman hit the Ohio Qb, Rourke really late.
Now Ohio is 11 yards away from tying it.
Gotta love how selfish so many football players are.
