I don't think anybody (even CUSA fans) will argue the MAC is and will continue to be a better conference than CUSA. The Mountain West is the conference to compare the MAC to. MAC and MWC have been neck and neck the past few years and are the stalking horse behind the AAC.

CUSA used to be better, the last few years it's close but MAC would have the edge based on Sagarin ratings.

CUSA is 4-3 against the MAC. UB knows they wouldn’t get a win if we weren’t experimenting on offense. CUSA recruits have a higher avg rating than the MAC. Yes we have a few new schools struggling with coaching, but I would still rather be in the conference with Charlotte than any MAC school. I don’t understand why the success of CUSA would get you so salty. Enjoy the MAC and don’t get your panties in a bunch because another conference has more bowl teams than you. But what made up those 4 wins and 3 losses? 6-6 WKU over 2-10 Ball State, 5-6 MTSU over 2-10 BG, and 7-4 Marshall over 5-7 Miami and 2-10 Kent State. The three losses were 6-6 Buffalo against 8-3 FAU, 2-10 Ball State over 7-4 UAB, and 5-7 EMU over 1-10 Charlotte. The team with the superior record won five of seven matchups, not too surprising, but it doesn't tell me a ton about how you stack up since we didn't see any matchups involving the best of the MAC. Those two upsets however were both by us, with your East champ losing to UB and the potential West co-champ losing to a putrid BSU program. And speaking of the Blazers, it doesn't speak well of your conference when a team that's basically had a two-year death penalty comes in and immediately competes for a division title.

To be clear... The only teams from Cusa i would even consider wanting to play are Marshall because of the history...and FAU because FOR SOME REASON people think they have a legit team??? And we would kill them on national TV and break the top25.
