Nice early 6:00 p.m. start. Sun will not yet have set. Temps could/should be around 60. Maybe some rain, but won't be the raw night that K'zoo had Wednesday.
Looks like we are as many as a 24 point favorite. Odds makers expecting EMU to put up a bunch of points.
Fans expecting EMU athletics to put on a light show and fireworks for fans.
I have not been paying any heed to this, but even if we finish 5 - 7 we might possibility still be bowl eligible. Has happened in the past, I believe last season. Normally a 5 - 7 MAC team is about as good a 2 day old pizza, but EMU's record defies simple optics (the record reads 2 - 6 but it isn't what most people think of when they see '2 - 6'.).

Let's see, we have a 2 - 6 record, rain in the forecast, Thursday night game, tv,. and an out of state opponent with a losing record,
I highly doubt there will be more than 2,000 butts in the seats.

(this isn't the Pepsi math that we are used to).BTW, I hate to talk Ypsilanti weather given that I'm 500 miles away, but everything I see on accuweather (.com) doesn't sound bad. Sixty degrees, maybe a shower or drizzle. Nothing terribly bad. Probably a couple good showers. To use a baseball analogy, I doubt it would interrupt a MLB game.
I assume the worse weather will be after the game ends.

Ball State hung around for a little while against Toledo before going down. We do not want that tonight. Not with our 4th quarter play calling/luck...
