Of course 5 of our 7 opponents likely cleared their benches so there is that. RE: Stats - bearcatmark - 10-17-2017 08:31 PM (10-17-2017 08:29 PM)rath v2.0 Wrote: We own the 4th quarter, bichez! Navy really skewing UC's run defense stats. that's honestly been a strength minus the Navy game. RE: Stats - UCGrad1992 - 10-17-2017 08:33 PM No surprise for our points off turnovers vs. the opposition. We've also been outscored 136-60 in the first two quarters. Surprising that UC is pretty comparable vs. the opposition in penalties/yards, scoring in the red zone and 3rd down conversions. Our kick and punt returns avg. against our opponents has been stellar. Yeah, I know. We're still 2-5. RE: Stats - Racinejake - 10-17-2017 08:34 PM (10-17-2017 08:31 PM)bearcatmark Wrote:(10-17-2017 08:29 PM)rath v2.0 Wrote: We own the 4th quarter, bichez! Teams have had their success on the outside by and large. Best we've had in a few years IMO. RE: Stats - UCGrad1992 - 10-17-2017 09:59 PM Doaks is averaging 4.6 yds/carry and Warren 5.9. Not bad considering our O Line play. Although USF and Michigan stick out as particularly sloppy on that front. Those two have gotten their biggest gains on misdirection routes. Both also have done very well at picking up additional yardage after contact (can recall several strong stiff arms Mr. Doaks has handed out). Not bad considering our O Line play. Doaks is definitely more about power and Warren is a shifty, spin, and balanced runner. I think they both compliment each other very well. Can't wait to see how they perform over the next 5 games on the schedule.
