How good is this D!! Best half I've seen in a long time. Also i think the no stupid penalities on us helps a bunch!! Only one half though. Lets finsh strong and get bone yard victory!!

Been watching the Huskies since 1971, this is the best NIU defense I have ever seen.

Santa had a so-so game. But he did what he has shown a special ability to do - make a big play!!!! That is something you can't see in practice.

Was fun to listen to LESs on how Nebraska would wear down the HUSKIE defense. But little guys with speed who can tackle just showed him why he is not coaching right now. Now if nd can lose maybe the Chicago media will acknowledge the HUSKIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wasn't talking about SDSU. I was talking about in general. The defense has played good so far but let's keep in mind the three offenses they have played against so far.

Well they put up 40 plus against arkansas state. And quite a few against oregon though they might have been playing soft in 2nd half

This Nebraska offense might be the best offense that NIU has faced so far.
A very experienced QB (maybe most experienced in the B1G) who can put up 40 points against a Arkansas State team and 35 points against Undefeated Oregon.
He is likely to score prolifically against several B1G schools.
Had Nebraska had two potent RB his job would have been easier.
If you give him time, he will kill you.
When his receiving corp and protection improves, expect him to make a noise in the B1G season.

Never would dream that NIU could sit back and rely on its defense for an entire game and get a win in Lincoln. Can't argue with results on this day as hard as I have been on Rod Carey, congrats to the players to all the coaches. This is their day, what a tremendous victory. Glad I was proven a moron on this day. Really appreciated Brando, he captured this moment in history for Huskie fans like probably no other announcer in the nation would have

The defense is also very young. If Santa can develop and we can find another RB after Huff and Carey grows a pair this team has HUGE potential.
