Josh rosen is going to be the number one overall pick next draft. I have a hard time believing Memphis even keeps it close.

I think Memphis beats UCLA.. they will most definitely play better than A&M did.. balanced attack. It will be a win for AAC.

I'm gonna say Memphis wins the first 3 quarters easily. But Rosen and UCLA win the 4th. Don't tell me it can't happen!

I really think anyone thats that confident about beating ucla is grossly underestimating just how good they are.

I say Memphis may keep it close going into the half but after that it's probably over. UCLA has shown they make huge adjustments post half.

If you say so memphis just hasn't shown me anything that makes me think they can hang with an elite team. Especially considering they have lost a few key players on defense already.

Who knows? But we are only a 3.5 point dog. And playing at home before our first big crowd, after a monsoon in the opener and a cancellation vs. UCF.

Of course we can beat UCLA.

Will we? IDK, but we sure as hell can. We were a bigger dog to a ranked Ole Miss 2 years ago, and a ranked Houston last year on the road.

UCLA is an elite team? Since when?

A&M is trash. They were tied with Nicholls State in the fourth quarter last week. That game was more a reflection of just how fragile the Aggies are than anything about UCLA.

How about beating us last year? Memphis is no slouch.

A&M led UCLA by 34 points and they aren't very good.

So sure, Memphis can win. 07-coffee3

Ya but that game last year tom herman wasn't even coaching he was too busy counting the $ to bother trying to win. Not to mention our team pretty much was either entirely hurt or just had no motivation to win the game all due to tom herman.

Not saying the cant win. Anything is possible but saying its going to be easy when they struggled to beat a bad g5 school is not a good sign.

I really only judge mid game not pre-game so far the only game i got burned was the navy-fau game.

As far as houston i was the one predicting we where going to suck eggs this season so you don't even need to bother with that.

Well when you have the top qb in college football your definitely no slouch.

UCLA is giving up over 330 yds per game rushing, something Memphis does pretty well. if Memphis can get the running game going and keep Rosen off the field, then odds are in our favor. the shorter this game is the better with 1st downs being as valuable as points

I'm not sure how the reigning Heisman Trophy winner, whose numbers are actually up slightly this year so far, loses the Heisman and doesn't become the number one QB pick in the draft. Plus both of Lamar Jackson games were on the road against p5 opponents, while average over 40 points a game and still hasn't thrown a pick.

Josh Rosen is outstanding but most of his great numbers this year come against downtrodden Hawaii. His adjusted QB rating suffer because he can't run while Jackson adjusted QB rating surpass Rosen because he can run. Add to the fact that Rosen has played both his games at home, a luxury that Jackson has not had yet this year.
