He had just posted the thread about Jerry Lewis this week. I would often notice a story that might be of interest in our off topic forum but then would see that Ctipton had it posted already. (In fact he used to start such a large number of threads maybe we should add his name to the off topic forum in his honor)

Big loss. Quality poster, I know several on here knew him well. I never got to meet him but enjoyed his post. I especially enjoyed getting to hear about his many travels. He seemed to make the most of his time.

Holy ****...two big losses from bearcat faithful so quickly together. I never met Chris personally but we had a few very good conversations on here based on his military service with my father. A great man who lived a great life and served our country proudly. Rest in Piece, sir!

Holy moly. Bad month for Banter faithful. I'm wrapping myself in bubble wrap tomorrow. Got to meet ctip once in person. As everyone knows, he was a huge fan and supporter. As Bearcatmark mentioned in another thread, one thing we can all take a lesson from is the way ctip made the most of his last years. Guy traveled a ton and posted about it regularly. If I can be so lucky to enjoy my last time on earth as well, I will consider myself lucky. Godspeed ctip. You and subflea will undoubtedly be helping the Bearcat faithful in the hereafter.
