The Broncos will have their plate full with Lynch, Siemien and Chad Kelly competing for the starting job .
If you know Paxton, better tell him to get on with it and beat both Siemien and Kelly for the QB job.

his only intrigue...is that he is related to Jim Kelly....Hall of Fame QB.
He doesn't have a 1/10th of Jim Kelly's heart or character.

I think the Kelley injury will keep him out of the picture for a few months. After that he will get a shot if Seimien or Lynch don't establish themselves. The job is right there for Lynch to take.

Kelly does have talent and toughness though. We will see if that translates to playing time.

If anyone wants to slam Kelly, it should only be (rightfully) for dumb decisions he makes off of the field. He is a GREAT quarterback, that is a fact whether we like it or not.

How about this? Kelly is auditioning for the backup job. If he's good enough, they can afford to trade whomever loses the starting competition between Lynch and Simien. Both have solid trade value - even if they don't start this year. Paxton still has "1st round potential" value. Simien has proven backup value.

Denver is looking for their Dak Prescott. Lynch showed he was not that last year (or maybe he would have been if given a chance) so they are taking a flyer on Kelly maybe they will catch lightning in a bottle too!!!!
