They have their reasons and I hope that UTEP can get those games with Army on their schedule. Good attraction in El Paso. Very bad result last year but hopefully improved going forward.

That's weak. Army is a great game for your fans to watch and puts butts ins eats and eyes on TVs. I almost hope UNT loses to Liberty now . . .

UTSA needs to make a push here. San Antonio is military city, USA, with two Air Force bases, one Army base, and Camp Bullis which is a 28,000 acre training site 5 minutes away from UTSA for military personnel. There's a HUGE amount of retired and active-duty military in the city.

What!?!? Getting beat up by Army's physical football! Lol Yeah the triple option is tough to defend, and the cadets or midshipmen tough as nails but they are undersized and not near as athletic. If anything that teaches a team to toughen up in the trenches. I agree weak response by UNT AD

It sucks for your fans that y'all lost a few games with Army and it also sucks for the rest of the FBS that y'all are helping legitimize Liberty as FBS. Granted I know it's not financially feasible for many FCS schools but who's to stop anyone from proclaiming themselves FBS now that they see that people will schedule them for the "FBS" win? I know I'd hate to see TXST categorized with schools that we spent the last 5 years trying to distance ourselves from.
I saw on reddit this morning that NMSU scheduled them as well... oh well.

This is perplexing, nothing against Liberty but Army is a great opponent for most of us. I wish we had some openings in 2018-2019, I'd love to play them.

I believe the injury reference in the article is because of the blocking schemes. Schools complain about AFA for the same reason.
