I can't follow your link w/o subscription, but guessing it is the article about nursing program that came out over the weekend. Not sure what's going on over there. I know as recently as 2014, GCU boasted multiple years in a row of having the highest NCLEX pass rates of any school in the state. There was a change in the leadership recently, but don't know if it coincided with the drop. Hope they get it figured out.

As far as the article goes, it seems pretty balanced. Just enough for people who want to believe the best or worst about GCU to say, "Ah, ha! I told you so!"

It has partly to do with the rapid expansion that the school has under gone. They want to try and keep their student to faculty ratio in the 30s:1 and they aren't getting nearly the same quality of professors. However, like the article also mentioned, ASU is having a similar issue, so it isn't like the sky is falling for GCU.
