It may be true, but the point is why go there, what have you have you gained?

Exactly. IU has had MUCH BETTER results over the course of the last 30 years.

Awwwwww. We found Mullet's soft spot... Peewee State in Raleigh.
I've been around since the caazone days and i too never knew mullet was such an NC State fan. Now his extreme ECU hate makes more sense due to that major football rivalry05-stirthepot

Mullet is the Kaepernick of our board. Persona non grata looking for attention.

Exposing truth. Nothing wrong with telling it like it is just because nc State fans don't wanna hear it.

Sorry. No can do. Frankly, I love The Mullet. I like that he's here and that he gets such a rise out of everyone.

So pour yourself a drink, take a couple of Claflin, and relax...

I know I know. All I'm saying is we finally found his nerve ending. NC State. It's why he got so fired up about it several weeks ago and why all of a sudden, for the first time in three years, he's a Keatts fan.

Exactly. And if Miller wasn't gonna coach there now, he never was ever going to in the future. So who cares if there's bad blood?

And it seems well established within the industry that Yow sucks.

Haha...I still laugh when I think about him calling "the last 30 years" 'cherry picking'.

I am not a NCSU fan but a fan of ACC basketball and could care less about college football.

RE: Keatts to NC State - Dash Rip Rock Jr - 03-27-2017 07:18 AM

I said this before, lots of guys do not want to work for Debbie Yow, Archie knows lots of these guys and knows the stories about her meddling and micro managing are true. Kevin wanting to get his shot and is much more willing to over look this or not be concerned about this.

RE: Keatts to NC State - jumpinmullet - 03-27-2017 08:04 AM

I would take Keatts over Archie and his brother that can't make the Final 4 with top talent every year. Both are hot heads with super egos-just like the Dad.

RE: Keatts to NC State - dan10 - 03-27-2017 08:35 AM

I can tell you the IU fan base is very meh on the Archie hire. They aren't happy and aren't upset. Personally I am still surprised Archie wanted IU versus OSU, but he should be fine in Bloomington, assuming he starts quickly. Their fan base is cetainly not a patient one either. I think Archie will have more success at IU than Keatts will at NC State, and it is not because of lack of ability.

In the latest Kevin Keatts news...

NCSU's top freshman Dennis Smith declares for the NBA draft.

John Wooden wasn't keeping DS Jr. for a second year. Someone is going to get a really good PG late in the lottery.

I thought he was kind of overrated. But agree with you he was gone no matter what happened

Thomas Allen asked for release from his LOI from NCSU. Allen was State's only commitment.

RE: Keatts to NC State - jumpinmullet - 03-29-2017 08:00 AM

Smith could a great NBA point guard and I would him take over Malik Monk and the other pretenders like Josh Jackson,Fox-etc. The NBA is a graveyard for skinny athletic guys that can't shoot. Smith can start for most NBA teams right now.
Keatts will get his guys in there pretty quick I think and start winning.

Tatum will be the best NBA player in this draft, bank on it. He reminds me a whole lot of KD at that age.

I think he could be great but not a 100% sold on any of the guys coming out this year. He is not NBA ready on the defensive side and does not appear to have real position-could be the dreaded tweener. I think Smith is ready on both sides of the ball. I like Ball and the big kid from Arizona as well. I think Fox has a real chance to be a total bust.
