The annual reenactment of the Battle of Guilford Courthouse which was the turning point of the Revolution in the South.
Cornwallis, even though he held the field, lost more than half of this officers and a good portion of his army. He was forced to march to Wilmington,NC, to be re-supplied. From Wilmington he sailed to Yorktown.

Nathaniel Greene was one of our more underrated generals in the Revolutionary War.

He copied a good bit of his deployments at Guilford from what Daniel Morgan (another great leader) did a bit earlier at Cowpens.

Yes Morgan served under Greene who sent Morgan out with a portion of his army to bait the British into the battle at the Cowpens.
