Idk about stAte and App. But TROY returns 80% of its starters from a 10-3 team and have a couple very good redshirt freshmen about to come in... Troy will be a contender 100%

If USA returns to the form they had a couple years ago they scare me, i remember that game like yesterday seeing how much bigger their boys were then ours, then again that was back when most of our team was redshirted and we were using almost completely fcs talent still

Possibly. GS situation is unique. No coaching changes have taken place at Troy and almost our same team returns for 2017. To think we won't contend would be foolish. I'd also place money on App.

App loses some key players for 2017 but those that return are seasoned and good. I'd be a lot less confident in 2017 if the schedule included Troy and stAte.

I'll say this. If App wins the conference but loses to Wake and/or UMASS then I'll be the first to put an asterisk on it as I think beating Wake at Kidd Brewer is as important to App Football as a conference title.
Losing to UMASS would just be embarrassing.

We return a lot on defense, even a few injured starters. That will keep us in most games.
On offense, we lose Gerald Everett (but have a really athletic tight end to take his place and continue the trend of NFL caliber TEs), we return a QB for the first time, we replace our terrible o-line and replace a few receivers. I think we have a chance to be pretty good next year, but we'll have to wait and see.
