Movie Director John Singleton dead at 51. He directed "Boyz in the Hood", Poetic Justice, 2 Fast 2 Furious, Higher Learning and others. He also directed Michael Jackson's video "Remember the Time".

May want to retract that. He's still alive.. The family is taking him off life support today... I'm sure I'm splitting hairs but for the time being he's still alive.

It doesn't sound good for him (and similar to Luke Perry and Tom Petty who were both on life support basically keeping them alive before their families took them off life support?).

Oh I agree.. Sounds like he was in for something and had a stroke.. And he's on life support.. But stranger things have happened...
