Ex-MLB pitcher Roy Halladay dies at the way too young age of 40 in a plane crash in the Gulf of Mexico. RIP. He might make the Hall of Fame posthumously now.

The medley of the songs in one is actually 8 to 10 minutes long. It was cut down to a little over 4 minutes for radio format. Stars on 45 Medley is the longest title that hit number one on the US charts. It used all the titles of the songs that they took snippits from. Hans sang on the Beetles part which he sounded like both Paul and George.

Jimmy Fallon's mom passed away fairly unexpectedly last week at the age of 68. I'm posting this video because it was a really neat tribute that Taylor Swift did at the very last moment to honor Fallon in his first show after his mom's death. She wasn't scheduled to be on the show but was in New York over the weekend to be on SNL and stuck around to do the show Monday. It was an especially poignant moment since there is a line in her song about squeezing her hand 3 times that directly ties into Fallon's tribute to her mom in the opening monologue. Pretty song, and you can tell the hug at the end of the song was super heartfelt.

Country musician Mel Tillis has passed away.
A couple of days ago, Dr. Ferdie Pacheco (the Fight Doctor in boxing) and actress Ann Wedgeworth passed away the same day. Wedgeworth was on Three's Company and some other stuff.

Ann was on Filthy Rich with Dixie Carter and Delta Burke by the same people behind Designing Women. She was also John Goodman's mother on Roseanne, and she was on Evening Shade for 4 seasons.

Earlier this year, Charlie Murphy died who was also in Harlem Nights.
Grim Reaper would be celebrated for taken Charles Manson down to Hell, while Della rises to heaven. Sadly, Manson's death is on the news coverage more than Tillis, Young and Reese.
