Bogan? - Broncos83 - 11-20-2016 01:32 PM Man, a healthy Bogan would be a nice boost to the offense. We kinda miss that back that hits the hole quickly. Jarvion's has been a beast but we miss that "change of pace" back. RE: Bogan? - rsswmu - 11-20-2016 01:47 PM Bogan changed our offense. I still think he is a step up from Franklin, he just always seems to hit the holes quicker than franklin. RE: Bogan? - broncos1123 - 11-20-2016 02:27 PM Doubtful Bogan will be healthy again this season. Even on a long shot that he plays again, he wouldn't be healthy. It's up to Franklin now. RE: Bogan? - wmubroncopilot - 11-20-2016 02:51 PM Hoping he'll be healed up for the bowl. He looked pretty much like his old self. Glad he's back and great decision to hold him out last week against Buffalo. RE: Bogan? - Bronco'14 - 11-26-2016 08:33 AM You could tell we were missing Bogan since he's been injured. He's better then Jarvion (no offense to Jarvion!!!) RE: Bogan? - Potro - 11-26-2016 08:39 AM Regarding Bogan and Franklin, each has their own running style. Per PJ Fleck, either one may have a better game depending on what kind of defense WMU is facing. RE: Bogan? - Dirty Ernie - 11-26-2016 08:53 AM Franklin and Bogan absolutely compliment each other. Working together they are better than either alone. Their look and feel are different. Bogan is a master at setting up the blocks and then slipping sideways around the pile. He is so quick. Franklin pounds ahead but if a hole is there he finds it and has a burst for a big guy. Both can catch the swing pass and go. Franklin oddly could almost be a receiver. Great hands. RE: Bogan? - rsswmu - 11-26-2016 09:04 AM Bogan changes the offense so much. You notice how we don't struggle on offense at all when he is playing. Jarvion is a beast but bogan is way more important. I know fleck says they are 1a and 1b but when bogan is healthy he is he 1 and should be. RE: Bogan? - New School Bronco - 11-26-2016 09:09 AM Yep maybe we missed Bogan more than we thought. He looked good tho RE: Bogan? - WMUslappy1 - 11-26-2016 09:09 AM Props to Franklin. That kid saved our bacon this year. RE: Bogan? - Potro - 11-26-2016 09:20 AM Franklin had a great season. Has to be among the RB leaders statistically in the MAC. RE: Bogan? - stdatwmu - 12-01-2016 03:03 AM (11-26-2016 09:09 AM)WMUslappy1 Wrote: Props to Franklin. That kid saved our bacon this year. Requisite reminder that - as a Junior - he's now the WMU all-time career rushing TD leader. And he's our 1B / 2nd back on the depth chart. What a team we have, folks. RE: Bogan? - Hiller4Hyz09 - 06-08-2017 08:58 AM Bogan is a major key to any success we achieve in 2017. Has anyone heard how he's doing? How's his health? RE: Bogan? - ejd_5277 - 06-09-2017 02:47 AM I haven't heard anything specific, but no one seems to be overly concerned about him at the moment. Hopefully it's a no news is good news type of scenario. RE: Bogan? - Hiller4Hyz09 - 06-09-2017 08:18 AM I just love this guy's HOW. A high character man. Our goal line back when we have Jarvion Franklin. Always falls forward when getting tackled I swear...I just LOVE that! Here's to good health all around in 2017. RE: Bogan? - flushtheherd - 06-09-2017 02:39 PM Our running game will be potent this year... a new learning QB's best friend. Couldn't be positioned better during this transition to a new QB than to have a solid line and RB game. |
