Streaming/TV Options for Navy Game - cwise - 10-19-2016 05:25 PM

So my DIRECTV package doesn't include CBSSN. We only have a few games a year on that channel anyway...so no big deal. But this Saturday is one of those.

Are there any reputable streaming sources for the game?

Sports bars

I use First Row sports whenever a game is on CBSSN. It ain't the greatest, and you gotta be careful where you click, but it will get you through in a pinch.

Literally any bar in the metropolitan area will probably have this game on.

Just get the SportsPak for th next 5 months. We have at least 2 football games and 5 basketball games on CBSSN. 2 trips to the sports bar and you've spent the same amount.

Not in the metropolitan area of Mason City, Iowa. It's First Row or bust.

Pay 6.99 or whatever for sports pack then cancel after game or a month.

Navy has their own TV deal, and I think their streaming service should work for the game. Other CBS Sports games are probably more of a bootleg deal unless you have one of the three or so cable internet services that have signed on to provide their stream.

I tried to register but it is asking me for a registration fee as if I am an all access subscriber. How do I get it free?

No idea. The link says it's free. Just passing on that info. Maybe it is old and now it isn't free?? I haven't needed to mess with it - I get CBS sports in Uverse.
