He still is my friend, do I like how all of this went done, NO. I wish him only success, but, he has a very difficult road ahead at ISU. This could make or break him, but with a 5 yr contract, he does have some wiggle road to work, if he can get some 4 or 5 star players that can help his program, if not, he may end up like Beckman.

Beckman's issue wasn't winning/losing. Campbell could have five losing seasons and still be respected enough as a coach to get another gig. He's on his way.

I think he did a good job, but I do think we should've played in at least one MACC.

Done and on to his next high paying job. Presuming no issues like came up with Beckman, some P5 WILL pick him up as head or assistant coach. They don't care if we feel he showed little class in how he left, they're looking for someone that can motivate football players and he can do that.
