For those of us who are not basketball people, are these numbers bad for the conference?

overall not bad...its just, it would be nice if the bottom three could be in the 150-175 range rather than basically 200-250.

also I don't like that 50% of the conference is 100 or worse.

Not horrible; however, it is a killer to be over 150. And we have 4 teams.

And Memphis will be at it's rightful place of about 205...lol jk. We're happy to just not be 3000 this season even at the very beginning.

With the obvious disclaimer that this is extremely early, it suggests the bottom 4 are going to get slaughtered in league play and the league isn't very balanced.

Which is, has, and will continue to be the case with this conference since Tulane (no recruiting), ECU (in-state competition), and UCF (wanton disregard for the sport) have shown no progress in the last few years.

IMHO, it is bad...the AAC Mendoza Line is Memphis...teams below Memphis look to be really bad.

The ratings also tell me the AAC has 3 NCAA contenders and 1 bubble team.

But the reality is this early in the season it means nothing...relook in 2-3 weeks.
