Just a rough time of year for us in so many ways. Two genders, one sport in the books. Meanwhile, every other school has at least three, some four. After football, we can begin to compete, but get behind that it takes some great play to get there. Wish there was more to get excited about in the fall for us.

We're in the same boat every spring. We compete very well at or near the top every year, and then the softball results come in and that's that. Not sponsoring softball does not help us in the standings at all...

Come on UTA, you are ahead of us and we're playing more sports than you. If you count the sports not done yet we're only up 2 on you. What's that tell you?

5 way tie for 5-9 in football means everyone splits 5 points right?

Correct; South Alabama, Idaho, New Mexico State, Louisiana and Troy all had 3-5 conference records, so they split the points of 5th through 9th.

Ugh, from 3rd to 7th. Now three of the four sports we don't sponsor are in the books, so we will make waves, but a 21.5 hole is a pretty big hill to climb.

Speaking of Golf, the AState golf team just won its 3rd tournament in a row. New coach has them flying.

App is about to have an epic slide in those standings, so weak in spring sports right now.

One thing about us both posting is that we can double check the numbers. I have different numbers for USA and TxSt. I have one more point than you do for both schools. Feel free to double check my numbers and let me know if I have anything wrong. The SB will post as well, but I caught a mistake on their website myself last year so they are not 100% on this either.

It sounds like it was on your side based on what your reply. If that is the case I am not going to to spend time trying to track down anything on my numbers.
