http://www.mlive.com/broncos/index.ssf/2015/08/wmu_athletics_announces_broadc.html#incart_river

Also tells us about the radio network and new Bronco Review times and channel (CW7 on Thursdays at 4:30 and again at 10:30 pm)

"Coming in November, Bronco Productions will present live event webcasts over the ESPN3 platform. The WMU Division of Intercollegiate Athletics has invested in a new production trailer run under the direction of Assistant Athletic Director for Multimedia and Broadcasting Will Posthumus. Over 30 WMU men's and women's basketball games and other selected events will be produced and distributed live online through ESPN3. A Portage native, Posthumus returns to his hometown after serving in a similar capacity with the Detroit Red Wings, Detroit Tigers, Detroit Pistons, Arizona Diamondbacks, and most recently with the Miami Dolphins. Posthumus will also direct the live production on the new three screen Waldo Stadium video board system Friday night when the Bronco football team opens the season against Michigan State."

Does anyone know if the game will be available on replay?

RE: ESPN3 production - Chipdip2 - 08-31-2015 12:54 PM

That makes sense. His resume sounded way too good to be doing this for Western. But wanting to come back home makes sense. Sounds like were doing this right way

Even a broken clock is right twice a day. Glad this video production thing is on the right track.

My favorite line!

How does everyone feel about John Creek as color analyst? I've talked to the guy, and he seems like a very nice and genuine person.

But on the radio I think he's more boring than static.

Am I way off on this?

Not as far as I'm concerned, bf1. I prefer a rowdy, homer-type of color guy to get my juices flowing. I have nothing against John Creek, other than that he's yawnable.

GO BRONCOS!!!!

I like John. He's knowledgable and informative. At the same time as saying that, I liked MP and his style as well.

I would have no problem with three in the both. Hook, the Ernie Harwell of the MAC, Creek, the dull but informative color guy, and Porter, the unrestricted cheerleader.

WGN Radio had like 12 guys in the booth for Cubs games, it was great.

That would be great. Monte can blame the officials for everything, Creek can calm him down, and Hook and ignore both and call a great game.

Posthumus was a walk on on the baseball team for a year or two as well.

RE: ESPN3 production - Charm City Bronco - 09-04-2015 07:13 AM

The OK ST-Slappy U game is available on replay and that game was on ESPNU, so the MSU-WMU game will be on replay if you can't watch the game live, which is my case.

The perfect setup, Dip. I agree 100%.
