I just saw this on the ODU Athletics web site. ASN has picked up the ODU - Eastern Michigan game. Kickoff is being moved back from 3:00pm to 3:30pm.

Glad it was picked by ASN. I was thinking of catching ESPN 3 but now it's even better. I hope WATL airs this game.

ASN has signed an agreement to show a few MAC games previously slated for ESPN3. Nice to see ASN and ESPN working together.

They actually do pretty well at Olympic sports, at least compared to other MAC teams. So I doubt they're going anywhere. But yea, the football has been terrible for a long time.

Dawg, I think you are wrong on this one. We had a bad game and won by 14 last year. I do believe the Monarchs will win this one going away.

Maybe. First game of the year on the road is usually tough no matter who is being played. On top of that first game post-Heinicke. It could go either way

I'm leaning more towards this, but I do think we'll ultimately win. We were the more talented team last year and that shouldn't change this year. I do think it will be closer than we'd like it to be though.

Put me in the camp of those concerned about this first game, as well. We have been incredibly fortunate to have outstanding QB play since our inception. Bentley is the heir-apparent to run the show, but I need to see a full game against D-1 competition for him and our defense before I start predicting blowout wins on the road, even against lighly-regarded EMU.
I hope I am proven to overwhelmingly wrong, but I want to see it on the field first.

Is ODU going to have a good travelling contingent up at EMU? They have a history of being one of the worst-attended FBS teams. Other sports aren't as bad, but their football really suffers from being only a couple of miles from UMichigan.
