Now, what's great in the Sun Belt — a deep roster of teams, solid coaching, positive growth — is cause for concern elsewhere; you won't see the Southeastern Conference crowing over six or seven teams competing for bowl eligibility, for example.
Yet this is the best collection of teams in the brief and largely trivial history of the Sun Belt, which typically makes only occasional blips on the national radar during the course of a single season — often on fall weeknights, when teams battle for your undivided attention, and again in November, when the SEC rounds up a collection of teams to catch a breather in advance of rivalry weekend.
There are four teams with nine-win potential.
