South Alabama transfer - eagle9098 - 06-25-2015 10:43 AM
Dont know if this has been mentioned here but Phil Steeles site is reporting that SA has gotten a DE from Virginia Tech. Maybe Im late with this one. sorry if this has already been posted here. I think he is Dewayne Alford. 6'2 250. Didnt get much info because my computer is acting up.

They had another guy I believe a transfer from Nebraska at defensive tackle to come in recently.
Rivalry aside, be careful. 9 UAB transfers, 4 JUCOs, and 2 FBS Transfers all in one year can be a bad thing. Troy knows this loading up can be a problem. Some of your early 2016 targets look to be JUCO as well. I'm no coach, but if I were Joey Jones, I wouldn't sign a single JUCO in 2016.

Alford transferring to South Al? Wow, they keep getting some darn good transfers. The Jaguars will definitely not be as low as previous predicted by the experts and some newbies to the league. And, of course to some stAte and la la fans. Sun don't shine on the same dogs' tails forever, you know.

Right! And all I was basically saying is that it really doesnt matter right now because its early, and that is subject to change. I took it as you meaning you couldnt match TSU class because they had 12. Which is true right now, but all of this will change. Maybe we are saying the same thing and just looking at it a bit different.
