Spring game from BC - BaldingBroncoFan - 04-18-2015 08:33 PM

Looks like Ernsberger may be moving from fullback to TE and a little update on Josh Bass.

The starting tight end in the fall will be Eric Boyden again. He was being held out of a lot of things this spring because he has had a couple of concussions, so the coaching staff is being careful on his contacts. He is fine otherwise and will give us the same solid effort of last year. I was surprised to see that Ernsberger was used a lot in the TE spot.

I love the depth of our linebacker corps this year. Last year we made it through the season with four players and by the end of the year, they were very effective.

I was most impressed today with the play of our #2 through #4 QB's. At the earlier practices I did not see much performance but that was not the case today. I'm not sure who the #2 would be, I see that Flacco was running as the #2, but both Cam Thomas and especially Chance Stewart showed immense improvement and solid play. By fall this could be a real dog race. The receivers and especially Carrington Thompson should good play. The offense was very productive.

I was a little disappointed in the play of the second team offensive line, and that will need to be better if one or two starters incur injuries.

Overall a great show for the many people that were in the stands, and there was great energy on a wonderful spring day. It was a great day to be a Bronco.
