The main thing that I would love to know is how are our current players doing and what are they thinking. Are they excited and committed to the new staff and now our new recruit? With no news the last few weeks it would have been nice if current players would have showed some excitement on social media while coaches were working hard behind the scenes. Makes you wonder how many are unhappy.

One more thought, it's not like coaches have to stop recruiting to post on social media. Social media takes a minute or two and can be a great tool to create/maintain excitement - just ask President Trump (not trying to turn this political). Plus, you know all the players and recruits use it!

I didn't mean to stir the pot, or say 'I told you so'. As SEA33HAWK said, I think all of us want to know what's going on. It's really not about calling anyone out; we all want the same thing from the team. But, let's fight the temptation to be negative based on little factual information, and really support the new staff and players. I think we can all get behind that. Or else, we risk sounding like NCSU fans that are always waiting for something bad to happen. I don't want to be a 'woe is me' fanbase. We have a great staff in place, and they're going to produce results.

Ok guys. I made a call to someone closer to the program. They said that everyone involved is pumped and excited about the new staff and our future. The Shot Makers, who have met with McGrath, are very impressed with him. There is plenty of energy that we don't see. The staff is recruiting hard to find the right players for this program. Not just trying to fill holes. And, for what it may mean to all on these boards, the insiders were more hesitant with Keatts at this same point than they are with McGrath. I was told we just need to be patient. McGrath has plans to reach out more to the community, but is more focused right now on recruiting with the limited time he was given. So as a future Hall of Famer said, just R-E-L-A-X.

I didnt have to make a call, nor did I have to spout about someone seeing coach at lunch with a recruit earlier in the week.... I did however tell you guys that this staff has been busting their behinds, and we will be FINE. I will not tell you every single detail of what I know, but IF ole GrayHawk tells you that a chicken can pull a plow.....You better hitch his ass up.
