No bells involved, just an old smokestack and the former power plant that provided USM electricity in the early days of the school. It was renovated into a restaurant several years ago.

The Campanile is not truly a bell tower. It was a smokestack for the original power plant.

The bell tower at the Rice Chapel is considerably more modest.

I know it's not CUSA, or a bell tower, but no discussion of phallic campus objects is complete without talking about the Ypsilanti water tower by EMU's campus.
