The instructions say body of work, not just this past week. lol RE: Week 13: Rank the AAC - UofMemphis - 11-23-2014 02:26 PM UCF @ ECU and Cincy @ Temple should be very interesting football games...no idea how to rank em right now. Temple can't score enough to keep up with Cinci. If UC doesn't help them with turnovers it probably won't be close. Temple is good enough to force special team errors and turnovers on D, but if UC gets ahead Temple can't catch up on offense. ECU/UCF is a tossup right now. If UCF can throw it halfway decently they will be in good shape in that game. But for me, with all other things being pretty equal, I'll go with the head to head. In the one chance that night, UC was absolutely not the better team. Not even a close call, but a rout. RE: Week 13: Rank the AAC - The Knight Time - 11-23-2014 03:57 PM I don't know what planet these people live on who are putting Cincy and Memphis in a "class" above UCF right now. The UConn debacle was absolutely awful but if you played that in Orlando tomorrow the outcome would be much like the SMU outcome. Also interesting that UCF had to go play (and win) at Memphis in both 2012 and 2013 but for some reason the AAC didn't give them a return game to Orlando this season. It would have been a significant conference matchup given the circumstances. IMO all 3 teams will win out and we'll have co-champions. Can't wait for the divisions and conference titel game to arrive. Don't know what a 2012 Cusa schedule would have to do with the AAC, but them's the breaks. Um, I'm sure someone from the AAC could have looked at the CUSA schedule and pieced some logic together. My point is that it made no sense to stop the UCF/Memphis matchup for us to instead play Tulane, Tulsa, SMU, Tulsa, etc. RE: Week 13: Rank the AAC - NothingButKnight - 11-23-2014 04:12 PM 1. The UConn debacle was absolutely awful but if you played that in Orlando tomorrow the outcome would be much like the SMU outcome. All three teams have work to do. 1. UCF finishes off @ USF and @ ECU. UCF has shown me nothing that tells me they are going to win @ USF and @ ECU. I agree UCF is good and can do it, but declaring it a win right now seems a little premature. 2. Cincy finishes off @ Temple and with Houston in Cincy. During Cincy's winning streak they haven't played a team that is going to put pressure on Kiel like Temple and Houston will. They also have the speed in the secondary to keep up with Cincy's WR's. Also @ Temple is a game for Temple's bowl eligibility and their final home game. They are gonna be pumped. 3. Memphis still has to close out UConn. Games aren't played on paper. Memphis better show up. RE: Week 13: Rank the AAC - KNIGHTTIME - 11-23-2014 04:19 PM Ucf has only lost 1 aac game in 2 years. That one took 40 degree raining for that to even happen. Stand by my #1 |
