Incredible.

Haha.

Tennessee #33.

RE: ESPN Power Rankings - FOOTBALL not basketball - Tigers #32 - salukiblue - 10-28-2014 09:33 AM

Memphis has the second highest win out percentage (47.1%) of all teams. Only behind Marshall (54.1%).

Marshall in C-USA has a harder remaining schedule than us...The American needs to step it up.

Uh oh, East Carolina # 47

That ought to raise some eyebrows but, you know what? I think it's accurate.

Upon further investigation something doesn't seem right with these rankings...

ECU at 47 doesn't make sense.

So ECU caught a break by not having to play us?

Houston at 41, largely thanks to beating us, I'm sure. Bet they go to a bowl, too.

ECU got a huge bump with a perceived big win vs. VPI. But it appears Tech just really isn't very good. They did shellac UNC but the last two games they have played poorly...having to come from behind in the 4th q to beat 3-5 USF and were tied in the fourth vs. a sorry UConn team.

Well let me pose this question to you...If we win the remainder of our games all by 20 points we probably fall in these rankings...Does that sound like a sound rating system.

Yes they did. I believe we would whip them

I think it makes perfect sense. ECU has looked downright terrible the last 4 weeks.

They had extreme difficulty in pulling out late wins against UConn and USF, two of the worst teams in the league. Their defense had to withstand an offensive explosion from SMU to finally pull away late in the game. An offensive explosion... from SMU... let that sink in for a minute.

If they manage to get through their remaining schedule without a loss or two, I will be amazed.

No proof of that.

In fact, Memphis moved UP from 36 to 32 after beating SMU, the 4th LOWEST rated team in the rankings.

I don't think ECU has beat a team who now has a winning record.

Why would you think we'd fall? We'd most likely climb a few places, especially with that point differential.

Where does Houston rank? UCF ?
