Stuff like that is awesome.

Great to see the staff doing this kind of stuff. Wish there was more from this day captured on video to be honest. Very cool.

Brought a tear to my eye watching it.

Me too. And I have no idea who the kid was.

I wish Elton Alexander would have followed up on this. Student Newspaper-type of journalism there.

has nothing to do with Elton...and I stated that. Keep making that leap though.

I have no idea what you're talking about. You didn't even post on this thread before mine.

Forget to logout when you meant to switch IDs?

Don't worry, we got the "joke" already.

Good Stuff.

I ALWAYS like when I see us or any school doing things like this for kids that would never have a chance or that are struggling with something.

Not to take a negative turn, that isn't my intent at all. As I watched I wondered/hoped that this young man was able to understand, even if just a little bit, what was happening. I sincerely hope that he did, even if just a little bit. Because my guess is that something like that would mean the world to him.

Always, have a soft spot when you see different college teams let a kid with cancer or in a wheelchair or with downs syndrome or whatever else be a part of practice or part of the team. Also think its great when they show similar stories from HS games where both teams "get it" and let the less fortunate kid carry the ball and score a TD late, or hit a 3 pointer at the end of the game. So often we all forget that its just that a game, and there are infinitely more important things and bigger ways that a young persons life can be impacted.

Kudos to Coach Fleck and his team for hopefully making a memory that this young man will cherish.

Sounds like Kimbo might have a connection here:

I know Sean but he is a few years older than I was.

Great to see things like this. Great for the players to see and embrace things like this. Reminds me of how hockey has embraced the assistant coaches son.

Coach Fleck is absolutely a class act. Very nice gesture by the team.

Someone would have to be a true a-hole to post something negative or try to hijack this thread. This story is about as good as it gets. Very nicely done by everyone involved.

Yes.

Sean was one of best Bronco players ever.

Great thing by current staff-players.
